Many children in the world are exposed to many difficulties and great pressures caused by poverty, violence or work at an early age, which poses a great danger to societies.
It is estimated that there are many orphaned children in the world living in an environment of conflict and disaster. These children, especially when they are below the poverty line, face great hardships.
They are often at risk of homelessness, marginalization, and lack of protection, which deprives them of quality education and proper care.
Studies have shown that orphans are more at risk of not getting an education.
HOPE works in partnership with NGOs and individual donors to implement comprehensive orphan care projects which include:
1. Helping orphans get a quality education by providing school uniforms, shoes, books, stationery, and hygiene tools and following up on the orphan children’s commitment to attendance at school
2. Providing health care and medical support for orphaned children 3. Providing financial support to parents of orphans to enable them to meet other basic needs by providing them with good food
